Pioneer Ways & Bygone Days 

A tour and reminiscence of the old town centre of Yorkton, Saskatchewan.

Published in 2011.

This book, a project of the City of Yorkton Archives and the City of Yorkton Municipal Heritage Advisory Sub-Commission, was made possible by a grant from the Saskatchewan Council for Archives and Archivists. The historical details are derived from the records of the City of Yorkton Archives and property records.

The tour book features "THEN AND NOW" photos for many of the points of interest.

 

City of Yorkton Cemetery Walking Tour 

Published in 2000.

A year 2000 project by the City of Yorkton Municipal Heritage Advisory Commission.

This book contains histories of various persons who are interred in the City of Yorkton Cemetery. The histories reveal not only some aspects of their personal lives, but their contribution to Yorkton, the area, and to Canadian society at large.
