As per Section: Interments 42. of the City of Yorkton Bylaw No. 9/2021, City of Yorkton Cemetery Bylaw:

During the period from May 1 to October 31, notice must be provided by 11:00 a.m. two (2) days prior to the interment date.
- The intent of the notice is to provide at least twelve (12) regular working hours, for the purpose of opening and preparing the plot.
During the period from November 1 to April 30, notice must be provided by 11:00 a.m. three (3) days prior to the date of the interment.
- The intent of the notice is to provide at least sixteen (16) regular working hours for the purpose of opening and preparing the plot prior to the interment date.
The notice period shall not begin until all the required information has been received by Recreation and Community Services office.
Notice is exclusive of Saturdays, Sundays and Statutory holidays.
